In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team within a Production unit or line to execute production
processes, transforming parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely and cost-effective manner. Each day, you
will ensure continuous and efficient operation in accordance with volumes, schedules, procedures, drawings, and quality
and safety standards and policies. You will also showcase your expertise by organizing and allocating resources to meet
line production targets effectively and efficiently.
The work model for the role is: Onsite
This role is contributing to the IPU BUY&SELL in Quartino.
You will be mainly accountable for:

Leading and developing a multidisciplinary production and logistics team responsible for spare parts picking, packing
and shipping, single-phase UPS order fulfillment, PCBA testing, field returns management, and subassembly production,
while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.

Planning, coordinating, and overseeing daily production, testing, and logistics operations to ensure on-time customer
order fulfillment, compliance with service level agreements, and achievement of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and
Productivity (SQDCP) objectives.

Managing subassembly manufacturing and field return activities, coordinating inspection, testing, rework, and
disposition processes with Quality, Engineering, and Service teams to ensure product quality and compliance with
manufacturing standards.

Driving operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging Lean Manufacturing principles to
eliminate inefficiencies, optimize workflows and layouts, increase productivity, and enhance overall operational
performance.

Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably as a Production Supervisor, Team Leader, or
Production Coordinator.
- Proven experience in leading production teams, managing daily operations, and achieving Safety, Quality, Delivery,
and Productivity targets.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, 5S, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Good knowledge of SAP.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills, with the ability to engage, motivate, and
develop people.
- Fluent in Italian and in English.
