    This position reports to

    Regional Talent Acquisition Head Europe

    Your role and responsibilities

    Reporting to the Regional Talent Acquisition Head Europe, this role is responsible for leading the Talent Acquisition
    team in Switzerland and driving the execution of ABB’s Talent Acquisition strategy across the country.

    The Talent Acquisition Team Lead partners closely with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and the wider Talent
    Acquisition organization to ensure efficient, high-quality, and compliant recruitment delivery. The role combines
    people leadership, operational oversight, stakeholder management, and hands-on recruitment support for critical hiring
    needs.


    Key Responsibilities

    Talent Acquisition Team Leadership

    -

    Lead and develop a team of Talent Acquisition Partners responsible for end-to-end recruitment delivery across
    Switzerland.

    -

    Provide coaching, operational guidance, prioritization support, and performance feedback to the team.

    -

    Oversee and support full lifecycle recruitment activities across a broad range of positions, from individual
    contributor to senior leadership roles.

    -

    Foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and a strong customer-oriented mindset within the
    team.


    End-to-End Recruitment Delivery

    -

    Personally manage selected strategic, senior, or complex recruitment assignments.


    Recruitment Strategy & Business Partnership

    -

    Partner with Business and HR leaders to understand hiring priorities, workforce needs, and market challenges.

    -

    Advise stakeholders on recruitment strategies, talent availability, market trends, and realistic hiring expectations.

    -

    Support workforce planning discussions and proactively identify recruitment risks and opportunities.


    Talent Sourcing & Market Intelligence

    -

    Drive effective sourcing strategies across internal and external talent markets.

    -

    Support proactive talent pipelining and talent mapping activities for key business areas.

    -

    Utilize recruitment data and market insights to improve hiring effectiveness and decision-making.


    Employer Branding & Early Talent Activities

    -

    Support local employer branding initiatives to strengthen ABB’s market visibility and attractiveness as an employer.

    -

    Collaborate on university relations, early talent programs, trainee initiatives, recruitment campaigns, and local
    branding activities.


    Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement

    -

    Drive consistency, operational excellence, and process compliance across recruitment activities.

    -

    Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve Talent Acquisition processes and ways of working.

    -

    Contribute to global and regional talent acquisition initiatives, projects, and system enhancements.


    Compliance & Data Management

    -

    Ensure recruitment activities comply with local labor legislation, GDPR, ABB policies, and recruitment governance
    standards.

    -

    Monitor recruitment metrics, pipeline health, workload distribution, and operational KPIs to support effective
    decision-making and service delivery.

    Qualifications for the role

    -

    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, combined with substantial experience in Talent Acquisition within a global
    organization, RPO, or similarly dynamic environment.

    -

    Proven expertise in end-to-end recruitment delivery across multiple functions and seniority levels.

    -

    Proven track record of leading and mentoring direct reports.

    -

    Strong understanding of recruitment strategies, sourcing methodologies, recruitment marketing, stakeholder management,
    and candidate experience.

    -

    Experience utilizing recruitment systems, sourcing platforms, and recruitment analytics to drive hiring outcomes.

    -

    Ability to work effectively in an international, matrixed, and multicultural environment.

    -

    Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted partnerships
    across business and HR functions.

    -

    Solution-oriented mindset with strong organizational and prioritization capabilities in a fast-paced environment.

    -

    Fluency in English and (Swiss)German (written and spoken) is required.
