Service Engineer Laser

Your tasks
- Installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of our laser texturing and cutting machines
- Implementation of retrofits, upgrades, and machine conversions
- Identification of optimization potential in close cooperation with Development and 2nd Level Support
- Professional handling, analysis, and documentation of service cases
- Contribution to the creation, review, and improvement of technical documentation and process descriptions
- Occasional support with trade fair setup and dismantling
- Strict adherence to all relevant Advanced Manufacturing safety standards, including particle emissions, laser
radiation, contamination control, gas handling, and explosion prevention
- Support in additional functional roles depending on expertise and business needs ( , internal trainer, quality
initiatives, special technical projects – approx. 10% of working time)
Your profile
- Successfully completed technical vocational training, ideally with further qualification as a certified technician
- Proven experience as a Service Technician in the field of laser machines or comparable high-tech equipment
- Strong customer focus with a structured and independent working style
- High willingness to travel (up to 90%, within Europe and Switzerland)
- Solid MS Office knowledge, strong PC skills in both hardware and software environments
- Languages: English (mandatory) AND fluent German or French
- Strong commitment to delivering outstanding service
- Reliable and responsible team player
- Customer-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
- Independent, structured, solution- and goal-oriented approach to work
