Join Bühler as a Strategy & Business Development Intern – Future Food & Ingredient Platforms and help identify growth
opportunities in sustainable food systems. You will explore emerging technologies, analyze value chains and market
dynamics, engage with industry stakeholders, and assess business opportunities shaping the future of food, feed, and
ingredient production. Based in the Grains & Food CEO Office, you will report directly to the Strategy Responsible and
collaborate with Business Area leaders and C-level management. This 12 month internship offers exceptional senior-level
exposure, independent work in an exploratory environment, and the opportunity to contribute to Bühler's future
innovation and growth agenda.

- Explore and structure emerging opportunity spaces by analyzing value chains, market dynamics, customer needs, and
industry trends.
- Identify high-potential applications and business opportunities by combining market insights with perspectives on
emerging technologies and future production systems.
- Engage with customers, startups, industry experts, research institutions, and internal stakeholders to validate
opportunities and build a fact-based understanding of the market.
- Map Bühler's internal strengths, capabilities, and ecosystem partnerships to uncover synergies, capability gaps, and
value creation opportunities.
- Develop strategic recommendations, business cases, and decision-ready insights to support future investment and
business development decisions.
- Prioritize opportunity spaces based on market attractiveness, strategic fit, scalability, and potential value for
Bühler.
These are the skills you'll need
- You are a Master's student or recent graduate in Management & Technology, Industrial Engineering, Business
Innovation, Business Administration, Food Science, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- You bring genuine curiosity for innovation, sustainability, future food systems, and emerging technologies.
- You are interested in understanding how new technologies can be translated into customer value and successful
business opportunities.
- You think in a structured way and can translate complex topics into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- You enjoy working independently in an ambiguous, exploratory environment with limited predefined structure.
- You communicate confidently and effectively with both technical experts and business stakeholders.
- You enjoy conducting interviews, building networks, and interacting with external partners to validate ideas and
opportunities.
- Previous experience in strategy, consulting, innovation management, market analysis, entrepreneurship, venture
building, or technology scouting is considered a strong advantage.
