    Our R\&D department is currently looking for an R\&D Modeling \& Inno Advanced R\&D Modeling \& Innovation Engineer
    (f/m/d) Our R\&D department is currently looking for an R\&D Modeling \& Innovation Engineer. In this role, you will
    contribute to the development of the next generation of coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) and measurement
    technologies. You will combine advanced system modeling with innovation management activities, helping to shape future
    technology roadmaps while developing mathematical models and algorithms that improve the performance, accuracy and
    intelligence of our products. As a key contributor within the Systems \& Innovation Team, you will develop models
    describing the physical behavior of complex metrology systems, including thermal, dynamic, static, and control-related
    effects. You will also drive innovation initiatives and support technology communities across the organization. Working
    closely with multidisciplinary teams throughout Hexagon, you will play a key role in transforming innovative concepts
    into products used worldwide by our customers. Location: One of our offices in Renens (Switzerland), Wetzlar (Germany),
    Torino (Italy), or Heerbrugg (Switzerland) Advanced R\&D Modeling \& Innovation Engineer (f/m/d) Your main
    responsibilities will include: Advanced Modeling Develop mathematical models describing the behavior of complete CMM
    systems from a holistic system perspective. Analyze and model thermal, dynamic, static and control-system phenomena.
    Identify and characterize physical systems using advanced modeling and identification techniques. Design, implement and
    validate advanced algorithms for performance optimization, compensation and predictive capabilities. Lead the modeling
    work package within multidisciplinary development projects, including planning, budget and technical deliverables.
    Document models, analyses, specifications and test results. Innovation Support the coordination of technology roadmaps,
    technology maturation and pre-development projects. Collaborate with technical leaders to identify future
    opportunities, strategic innovation axes and future metrology technologies. Contribute to the development and
    coordination of technology communities and expert groups across the organization. Foster a culture of innovation and
    support initiatives that promote an innovation mindset. Support intellectual property activities including patent
    landscaping, freedom-to-operate analyses and patent generation. Requirements: Master's degree in Applied Mathematics,
    Physics, Robotics, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field. A PhD is considered an asset.
    Strong experience in mathematical modeling, simulation and algorithm development. Experience in complex system
    engineering, system architecture or multidisciplinary product development. Strong programming skills in Python, MATLAB,
    and C . Experience with TwinCAT is an asset. Knowledge of robotics, kinematics, control systems and CAD tools.
    Experience in metrology, precision engineering or measurement systems is an advantage. Experience contributing to
    innovation management, technology development or research projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to
